Watching the shuttle launch this summer was something else altogether.
But here's one of my favorites - a hybrid between SSTO and helicopter, the rather unusual Rotary Rocket. There's a full size mock-up at Mojave Spaceport.
MUSTARD and various other spaceplanes were in one of the little Blandford aircraft books. Sadly I can't remember which one now...
