Personally I was a bit shocked, previous reporting of "health concerns" made it seem like he was swinging the lead a bit to get out of doing things he didn't want to do. I didn't expect him to actually be ill.
I guess you can't really be accused of dying to get out of your homework touring.

I've been in America - Michigan to be more precise - for two months now. The television here takes some getting used to. And Farrah and MJ dying on the same day was ... something else, for the media.

It hasn't really died down here yet (no pun intended). The conspiracy theorists are having a field day.
