A little over a year ago, I commented that I hadn't heard that the Wachowski brothers were working on an adaptation of V for Vendetta.
Yesterday, Warner Bros put out a press release stating that they're going ahead with the project. There's a poster image for people to drool over:
For what it's worth, they appear to have cast Natalie Portman as Evey, which might work.
Right. I see. Time to lay in the napalm then...
Date: 2005-01-07 06:19 pm (UTC)I wish I wasn't so forthright sometimes. When I burned the twenty years of corro files back in 2002 the couple of letters I got from David Lloyd went with all the rest. And he was using the most sublime V For vendetta (mask close-up, inclined) watermark imaged letterheads. Fabulous paper... But typical me, if some of it goes, it all goes. C'est la vie.
