For those that are looking for an excuse to escape from their families between Christmas and the New Year, we're offering a retreat from family politics.

ias and I are having an open house on Thursday 29th 2005 (our address is in this friends-locked post). Any or all of the following may be involved:

• Eating
• Drinking
• Making merry
• Playing silly board games
• Talking nonsense

(it's also our wedding anniversary, but that's mainly coincidental)

It's a during the day thing - we'll start making pointed comments along the lines of "have you admired our decorations yet...from outside the house?" when we want to get rid of you. :)
